hi, i'm kay.
A graduate of Lawrence Technological University with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Graphic Design, I've always been drawn to the way spaces make us feel and how a well-designed environment can shape our mood and mindset.
That interest grew into a commitment to designing spaces that feel thoughtful, grounded, and emotionally resonant. For me, design is more than a career. It's a way to tell stories through space and create places people truly love to live in.
by kay is where that work lives: interiors and identity, made with intention.
what guides the work
intention
every choice has a reason, from the layout to the last little detail.
clarity
simple, calm, and easy to live with. nothing extra, nothing missing.
refinement
quiet details and considered materials that make it feel elevated.
longevity
design that still feels like you years from now, not just this season.
